The validity and reliability of the law of attraction is subjected to many criticisms. Since the premise is very subjective, it is difficult to quantify and measure. Just like any other theories and assumptions, it has to be scientifically proven and tested over and over again, for that is the only way that you can predict if its claims are valid and reliable. Most of the proofs given were testimonials of people who have tried to apply the law on their lives.. 

Although there are numerous academicians who contest the law of attraction, you cannot discount that it has served its purpose of attracting people to think positively and never entertain negative thoughts if they want to avoid the possibility of its fulfillment. Even if it cannot be validated, positive thinking does aid a person to cope with life challenges with their head held high.

The law of attraction encourages people to be an optimist. If you are the type of person who is full of doubts and is afraid to take chances in life then abiding by this law would give you the courage to let go of all your fears and doubts for it only promotes negative thoughts that would eventually lead to the realization of your fears. However, leading a life solely base on this law does not make you a wise person.

The law of attraction is only one of the universal laws.  Additionally, in order for your thoughts and beliefs to come to fruition, you must take action.
